The names of the rivers can be rearranged in 26 ways, and according to Kabbalah, create a powerful blessing of health and prosperity. It is said that the wine must fill the letters. What makes this kiddush cup unique is that, when filled, the wine not only fills the letters but actually flows through the names of the rivers. The names of the rivers were hand crafted into an inner cup one letter at a time and are a true work of art.
